I closed my old weblog today. Duality is officially public now. Since I never wrote an intro, today’s post will fill the void.
Welcome to Duality. You can think of this as a duo-weblog. My posts are on the left and Xero’s posts are on the right. For those of you who don’t know him, Xero is a longtime friend of mine (wave to the crowd, Xero). Together, we’ll be bringing you bits of our respective lives as well as reviews and impressions of games, movies, cartoons, anime, and music—or at least, that’s the plan.
I’m feeling quite brain-dead right now. But before I let you explore on your own, a little warning: the nav doesn’t work yet and a lot of stuff is still unfinished. As a general rule, if it doesn’t look right, I haven’t gotten to it yet.
Enjoy. =)

Only one question and I’m sure you saw this coming. Why WordPress over MovableType? :P

1) WordPress is totally free.
2) MoveableType free version only allows for one author. We need two.
3) WordPress installation is soooo easy.

The free version of MovableType doesn’t enforce the one author only thing, just FYI. :P
This is feeling unfortunately slow. Is it me or your host or what?

I’m sure this will be answered in the (pending) About section, but why a duo-log? What’s your rationale (and I mean for both of you, not just you alone, Quad) for engaging in a two-author weblog? This is a non-trivial question in this sense: I had no idea this other person even existed (I don’t remember you mentioning him in your weblog, or if you did it was fairly infrequent), much less had a weblog of his own.
This is obviously a radical departure from the usual, and a very intriguing one. Not a new idea, though… but the implementation is (so far) terrific, which is to be expected. Other similar weblogs were Trev/Anna’s Rivutana, long ago, and more currently David and his friend’s. The latter’s still alive and hopping.
Anyway, congratulations on this newest evolution. Looks very interesting already. But your pal better be writing as frequently as you do, else it’ll look strangely imbalanced. ;p
