Emmy (and Lex),

I apologize if I came across as condescending or insulting. I certainly didn't mean to be so!

Those who know me can certainly attest to the fact that my weblog communication style (as in my letter above) is chatty, informally analytical, verbose, and above all frank. None of which is meant to give offense.

I'm simply excited to see this new aspect of Quad's weblogging life, and was initially puzzled but also intrigued that he chose to go in this duo-weblogging direction. I wrote about this on my weblog entry yesterday, Q pushing the envelope. again. That it's Quad-centric makes sense because I only have known of the Quad side of Duality. That I have weblogging expectations of anyone who associates himself with someone I've known for a while now, is also reasonable. (Which suggests I'm interested in Alexis, and do care about his persona and nature; I'm not at all attacking him, and am sorry if my note came across as such.)

I'm still a bit unclear on the notion of this format, though, if either writer weblogs mostly independently of the other. Doesn't it make sense to think that there will be a kind of ongoing conversation between both halves? IMHO, it would be more interesting that way.

Lloyd.

p.s.: It's terrific that Q/X have opened up their weblog to public commentary, too. It's the sort of thing that better generates interest and cross-aisle banter, obviously. (Like now!) Hopefully WP has strong built-in anti-comment-spam barriers.

Lloyd is kind of making me mad, so i'm going to rant a bit.. As one of the few readers on this site that knows xero better than q, i'm a little offended at your tone or writing; its very condescending. Both q and xero have equal rights to this page, its duality, not q's page and that guy who posts on the other side. :P this is a weblog, not a webcomic or some other kind of site meant for your entertainment. this is a space where two people post thoughts, opinions, and reviews and it will generally reflect their lives. xero can and should post whatever he wants, whenever he damn well pleases. when he's busy, he won't post, and when he isn't he will. i've read some of your other comments on the site and while constructive criticism is well and good, i think you're going a bit far. I'm truly sorry if i offended anybody, but i thought i should say something in lex's defense.

P.S. i'm still waiting for lex and emmy in search of pirates! :P

Ya, no matter how hard you try, he always seems to get more guys than you.
