Anime Expo 2005

This last weekend, my roommate Porfirio (you may know him as prez2401) got to go down to the annual Anime Expo in Anaheim. While there, he took a ton of pictures with his camera-phone and asked if I would post some of them and I was happy to oblige. I wish I could put them all up, considering this is only a third of all the pictures he took, but here are some of the cool things that he saw (and a lot of cosplay).

Voice Actors:
Ryô Horikawa – Japanese voice actor who’s done Vegeta from DragonBall Z, and has also worked on several Japanese video games playing such characters as Capt. Falcon from Super Smash Brothers Melee.
Vic Mignogna – Voice of Broly from DragonBall Z and Edward Elric from Full Metal Alchemist, as well as many other animes including Neon Genesis Evangelion and DNAngel.
Mike McFarland – Voice of Master Roshi, Yajirobe, and others from DragonBall Z. Also does the voice for Jean Havoc on Full Metal Alchemist.

man that girl is nowhere near hot, the one on the left in .hack is hotter although i cant even see her face at all, but maybe because she has less clothing. (or almost none, rather)
i always wanted to cosplay too, but i dont have the time/money or even interest to really go to an anime con…

btw, battle royale cosplay could’ve been so much better….
if i were to cosplay battle royale, i would NO DOUBT pick that insane guy who killed everybody (and died at the end to the good guy). he had that cool face paint going on too.
or, for battle royale 2, i would pick shuya (the guy who survived from 1, who became the terrorist leader living in that cave), he had a cool cape and all.

i find it interesting that selphie is taller than irvine….. they probably should’ve switched character to cosplay… the girl who cosplay irvine (that’s a girl right??) seems prettier than the selphie one too from the picture. :D
and tetris blocks….. handicapped… sounds about right =/

I don’t think you ever met them, Bigi, but that was Kim as Naruto, Mich as Iruka, and Angelina as Kakashi. :P

actually, i have met all 3 of them (i have incredibly good memory at something like this…), but just never really talked to them much at all, comparing to the rest of your crew.
but that’s ok, i don’t know who’s Naruto, who’s Iruka OR who’s Kakashi, anyway. :D
