DS goes lite; Nintendo denies denying redesign

After dismissing DS redesign rumors on January 16th, Nintendo says, “Well actually, we are redesigning the DS. We were just pulling your leg when we said we weren’t.” The new DS, dubbed the DS lite (I know it’s in Japanese, just scroll down for the picture), will be smaller and lighter, have an adjustable screen brightness, and cost a little more than the non-lite DS costs now. It will be released in Japan on March 2nd.
Yes, I’ll be getting one; and yes, snaking in Mario Kart DS will be just as hard—if not harder (because the DS lite is thinner)—on the DS lite.

in other news my left thumb is still dead from first day’s snaking session…
on monday when my thumb recovers, ill be beating staff ghosts everywhere, like baby park, bowser castle, banshee boardwalk, rainbow road…. :D

You really should be carefull with such carpal-tunnel-like injuries. Those aren’t anything to sneeze at, they last a long time, and are quite debilitating.

Ahh, gotta love Dry Bones. I am actually quite fond of Luigi, too.
I still can’t beat the mid-level of Ouendan. I’m pathetic. But then again, I haven’t been attempting it because I’ve been busy feeding my puppy and getting him to “beg” for more than 15 seconds, and also drawing clouds for Yoshi to walk on.
