Why does this week have to suck so much?

9:34 PM - April 26th, 2006

Indigestion unexpectedly dropping by on Sunday. Insomnia joining the party that night. Crazy thoughts racing through my head. When I finally kicked them out today, fever hits me at work.

Man, if only I were still in school… take the whole week off without a second thought.

it REALLY sucks when you just have a particularly bad week (such as yours now, i know it too well) and you can’t just take a week off (what? waste a week of your 3-week-per-year vacation on that?).

Sorry to know you’re not feeling well, Quad. (Btw, don’t you have medical leave days? You should check into that if you haven’t yet.)

Lavendar really helps. If you get a chance to, get some. (Lavendar potpourri, or anything, really…) It helps alleviate migraines, insomnia, anxiety, stress, etc.

OR, if you really don’t feel like alternative medicine/smelling flowery, take some good-old American drugs. If you think you’ve got a cold, I suggest Cold-Eeze, but it’s best taken when the cold is in its beginning stages.

Ok, I’m done lecturing. Sorry to hear you’re not feeling well. Feel better soon!

I have sick days, but it feels like there’s so much to do that I shouldn’t take days off. The company’s paying me either way too, so since indigestion/insomnia isn’t infectious, why not just try to work? And honestly, over those few days, being at work calmed me down. I even considered going back to work to see if I could sleep better there…

    Wii.

  6. Lloyd Nebres says:

Perhaps I’m hopelessly antiquated, but that’s the silliest product name I’ve ever seen.

Way worse than Macbook Pro — which has actually grown on me now. A little. ;p

  7. Kass says:

No, Macbook is still the worst product name ever. At least Wii is somewhat innovative in nature.

  8. Lloyd Nebres says:

Innovative? Not. How about copycat? ;p Intel started the whole double-i thing with Viiv.

Just yesterday Scott Rosenberg at Salon commented on The perplexing allure of the double “i”. Perplexing, indeed.

  9. Lloyd Nebres says:

    HAHAHA:

“The internet went into overdrive, and the name was so controversial that within a few hours of its release, Wikipedia had locked down its “Wii” entry due to vandalism.” (From a Financial Times article, Wii aren’t too sure about this.)

‘Macbook’ is justly reviled, but I doubt it’ll generate as heated a response to it as Wii.
